What does our name mean?

CHRISTIAN: We are called Christian because we firmly believe in Jesus Christ as God's Son and our Savior.

REFORMED: We are called reformed to signify that this church is in the tradition of the historic Protestant Reformation. We accept the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God, our only rule for faith and life.

CHURCH: We are called church because we are a people in partnership with God, committed to redeeming a fallen creation for His glory. The church is more than a building: the church is people.

EMDEN: Our church was started in 1890 by German immigrants who named it after a town in Germany called Emden.
